Rodney L Magee – Song Writer and Entertainment Producer

Born and raised in Detroit, MI

Start his music career at the age of 8 at Coolidge Elementary school. There He studied the violin.

He started sing in the Salvation Army Choir and fell in love with Music.

In the 8th grade, he picked up the trumpet at Harding middle school under the tutelage of William McGallister.

For the 9th grade he attended Redford High School where became: 1st chair 1st trumpet and Brass Capitan. He played in the marching band, symphonic orchestra, and Brass Ensembles.

He took first place, 4 consecutive years in the solo ensemble festivals held at Wayne State University. All under the tutelage of Dr. Richard Hadley.

Attended Eastern Michigan University and studies under Professor Carter Edger-Trumpet.

At age 15, The late Dr. Arden Bolden took him under his wing to Sharpen the skills of reading, composing, performing, and producing.
